《沐》

《沐》 is a public art installation specially created by artist Shun-Lung Lin, conceived around the concept of the Tree of Life. It symbolizes the cultural ecosystem of the CMP Greenway, nurtured by the interplay of humanity, art, and nature—everlasting and regenerative.
Standing 12 meters tall, the installation is crowned with Taiwan’s endemic Taiwan White Pine (Pinus morrisonicola). At its base, children from the local community were invited to carve their “growth memories” into unique copper plates—depicting construction vehicles from the building process, dinosaurs from the National Museum of Natural Science, birds and butterflies among the treetops, and more. Like an insect habitat along the Greenway, these copper plates are reflected against ninety mosaic windows, together shaping a collective imagination of “home.”
As the work neared completion, Lin invited children to interactively arrange and assemble the copper pieces, weaving their shared emotions into the artwork and preserving their most beautiful childhood memories. It became a place where people and nature gather, co-creating precious moments together.
《沐》 is not only a landmark where people and nature meet, but also a work enriched by the playful creations of neighborhood children. Infused with childlike imagination, it also carries a sense of legacy—allowing everyone to feel its warmth and charm in their own way. Visitors are encouraged to interpret the work through their own perspectives, bestowing upon it unique meanings that resonate personally.
