Building on the RE. series begun in 2022, this work uses secondhand clothing as the creative material and centers on the outline of a scaled-up cassette tape, referencing pop-culture memories from the artist’s early years. By reorganizing, reassembling, and reinterpreting images and texts from T-shirts, wearable language becomes artistic components that explore personal memory and visual culture through familiar yet unfamiliar visual fragments.

Abei Liu, currently based in Taipei, began his artistic journey in 2014 by sharing illustrations on social media. Since then, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and design fairs as an artist. His early work primarily featured stylish, emotionally engaging figures and everyday moments. In recent years, his focus has broadened to more expansive creative explorations, yet he continues to emphasize the emotional subtlety and warmth between people and objects.
